About Me

Nicole: I have loved sewing since I was a small child. I remember waking up early on Saturday mornings to go use my mom's sewing machine to make Barbie clothes. In high school, I watched Sewing with Nancy, recording it along with DOOL. After graduating from college and moving out of my parents' house, my sister bought me a kiddie sewing machine as a gag gift. I sewed many a project on that little workhorse despite it only doing a straight stitch and not going in reverse. For 10+ years it was my only machine, then we moved around the world. I couldn't take any of my craft supplies including my little machine. My wonderful husband bought me a Bernina for Christmas. Worrying that it wouldn't arrive in time, he bought me a Husqavrna too. I am now the proud owner of 2 sewing machines...time to get sewing!
